You send me your document as a file, an image file (jpg, tif, pdf, or a similar format), by fax or by post and I will send you the translation as a file, or if you wish, by fax or by post
or
you bring me your document and collect the text from me again together with the translation.
Certified Translations
You bring me the original document and collect it from me again together with the translation certified by me
or
you send me a copy of the original as a file, an image file (jpg, tif, pdf, or a similar format), by fax or by post; in this case I will certify that the translation is accurate but not that it was made on the basis of the original
– something which, to the best of my knowledge, does not present any problems regarding recognition of the translation by public authorities, etc.
or
you send me the original by unrecorded delivery and I will return it to you together with the translation by unrecorded delivery (this is only advisable if it will be easy to obtain a duplicate of the original should the letter be lost)
or
you send me the original by recorded delivery and I will return it to you together with the translation by recorded delivery; in this case additional charges will be made to cover extra postage and work.
Terms of Payment
If you bring me originals for translation in person, the translation is normally paid for upon collection.
Payment in advance may be requested in all other cases, particularly if orders are handled by mail, fax or e-mail.
Please understand that payment in advance is always required in the case of texts sent from outside Germany.
